Do you need cotton canvas?

Canvas is an extremely durable plain woven fabric used for making sails, tents, backpacks and other items for which sturdiness is required. It has also expanded into other markets, such as fashion handbags, electronic device cases, shoes and much, much more. It is also popularly used by artists as a painting surface, typically stretched across a wooden frame.

Canvas is usually made of cotton, and differs from other heavy cotton fabrics, such as denim in being plain weave rather than a twill weave. Our cotton fabrics range from 270g/m2 (8oz) up to 1000g/m2 (30oz) and are produced in a broad range of widths and roll lengths. Waterproof and other types of finishes can be applied to the fabric if required.
